My name is Robin Hayward the creator of Self Care Aware. Let me tell you a little about myself. I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts with my husband a cat named Bootsie and my dog Maya. I have two grown daughters. Professionally I have over 40 years experience working with children and families. My full time job is as a director of a diaper bank.

I created the Self Care Aware box during COVID 19 because I wanted to find a way to let people know that they are cared for. The Box is full of items that nurture self care and bring delight. My desire is to build  a community of  subscribers and professionals that reinforce self care by providing unique items, programing and work-shop opportunities lead by professionals.

It’s so fun to gift yourself,  friends and family. It’s also great to have control of when your gifts arrive, and  that’s where we come in! You can sign up for a subscription or choose to purchase a one time Box!

I am so excited to introduce our new Logo! our brand box and the new “Spring Box Collection” The colors remind me of Spring! When you open the box you will be delighted! We all have that someone in our lives including ourselves that need a sweet and thoughtful gift, one that makes us stop and think of our own needs first for just a bit. I also create jewelry. This is my mode of self-care through artistic expression. Sometimes I create handmade polymer clay beads and other times I enjoy working with semi-precious stones to create whimsical bracelets. My most popular creation is the Aroma Therapy Bracelet with the dragonfly seen here below. All you do is add a tiny bit of scented oil and it will last for weeks.
